Sex, lies and memory foam mattresses
Memory Foam FAQs, memory foam mattresses August 14th. 2008, 1:52pmHere at Memory Foam Mattress Direct, we provide information on a wide variety of sleep and memory foam subjects. Many of our customers are interested in the benefits of memory foam and tips on how to get a good night’s sleep, or reignite passion in the bedroom. In light of this, one of the more obscure questions we get asked is: “Can watching TV in bed affect your love life?”
The short answer is yes it can.
An Italian researcher believes he has uncovered the reason why some couples are at it like rabbits while others are lucky if they manage to have sex once a month.
After studying the sexual activity of 523 Italian couples, psychologist and sexologist Serenella Salomoni found that those who keep a TV in the bedroom have sex half as often as those who don’t.
The old adage about TV being a passion-killer certainly rings true according to this study. Couples without a TV in their room made love twice a week on average, whilst this figure halved to once a week for those who did have a ‘box’ in their bedroom.
If the Italian love-gods are struggling to perform when Big Brother is watching (or they are watching Big Brother), then what chance do British men have!
So ship out the TV, even if it’s just a temporary move to reignite the flames of desire! Check out our guide to sex on a memory foam mattress too. The article includes some useful tips on how to ensure that the best sleeping experience you’ve ever had is also conducive to mind-blowing love making.
